Internet information - ESS collects the following information regarding visitors to our site including: domain name and information regarding what pages are accessed. The collection of this information is for statistical purposes only. No attempt is made to identify users or their browsing activities.

General information - Information is collected and retained whenever a person contacts ESS with respect to business type activities. This information is used for support and marketing activities. Collection and retention of information for other purposes such as opening an account with ESS will only occur once written permission has been granted by the person or organisation applying.

How does ESS secure my Information?

Once the information has been received by ESS, ESS takes measures to protect information from loss, unauthorised access, destruction, misuse, modification or disclosure. Backups are maintained securely on site and off site with current releases of anti-virus software and firewall technology implemented on systems to minimise loss, unauthorised access or destruction of information.

Will ESS disclosure my information to another party?

Information retained by ESS is not provided to any other organisation unless the organisation has been engaged by ESS to carry out business services on behalf of ESS such as mailing houses, debt recovery agents and so forth, or in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect information retained and collected by ESS and produce relevant documentation to fulfil its legal obligations to statutory organisations under local laws of Australia (State and Commonwealth).

Does ESS save Cookies to my computer?

ESS does not use or save cookies files on your computer to track or record data.

Are my E-mails protected?

E-mails sent to ESS via our web site or directly are not encrypted or protected from unauthorised access. While the e-mail is being sent onto the ESS e-mail server there is a risk of interception. Once the information has been received by ESS, ESS provides security for this information as outlined above.

Can this Privacy Statement change?

ESS reserves the right to update this policy from time to time.

Can I have my personal information removal?

At any stage you can have your personal information deleted or deactivated from our internal systems up to the point where ESS fulfils its legal and statutory obligations under local laws of Australia (State and Commonwealth)

To have your personal information removed from ESS systems, simply contact ESS and request that your information is removed. We will comply and remove your details within 2 working days from request.
