The number of management module licences must be
greater than or equal to the number of design /engineering licences as
a user of the design /engineering modules consume a management and
design/engineering license at the same time.
Licences are based on concurrent users, which
means any number of computers may access the STEELbuilder software but
access will be limited to the number of licences currently not in use.
Full Edition
STEELbuilder full edition
includes all of STEELbuilder features and suits larger organisations
wanting to design complex structures where design rules contained
within the SMARType are pushed to their limits and engineering checks
are required.
The full edition also suits
organisations wanting to take advantage of onselling their building
system to others with the OEM edition of STEELbuilder.
Light Edition
STEELbuilder light edition is
an ideal product to gain the productive improvement throughout the
business in line with the full edition, but without the engineering
modules. This suits businesses that are comfortable with supplying
structures that fall within the business design standards as defined
in the SMARTypes.
OEM Edition
One of the unique benefits
STEELbuilder offers businesses wanting to take on a pre-existing
building system is the OEM edition. It provides all of the
productivity benefits of the full edition with the only difference
being the design rules and engineering functions are predefined by
another party using the full edition of STEELbuilder.
This provides an excellent
path for developers of building systems to onsell, franchise or
establish dealers to use predefined design rules to minimise risk to
your business while collecting royalty fees or other income as
negotiated between the parties.
The OEM edition also suits
suppliers of roll formers to the building industry in that they can
value add to their product or business with the world leading steel
frame detailing, manufacturing and engineering solution.
